A little BIT about ourselves
Andrew Greyling and Marcel van’t Slot opened Run-A-Way Sport in Lynnwood on 10 March 1994. On 4 December 1994 Marcel was tragically killed while out running. In January 1998, Stein Steinbach became a partner in Run-a-Way Sport and in December 2007 Stein and Werner Steinbach bought Andrew’s shares. They are now the co-owners of Run-A-Way Sport.
The old shop served us for many years, but eventually became just too small and crowded for our growing clientele. So, we moved shop into a bigger shop in the same building. But, yet again, we outgrew these new premises. Our desire to serve our customers to the best of our abilities, as well as the value that we wish to add to our services, prompted us to seek a site that would better serve our and our customers’ needs. And we found just the place!

On 1 May 2013, we started trading from our new premises at 302 Freesia Street, Lynnwood Ridge, Pretoria, GPS S-25.7665, E-28.3012. This shop is one of its kind in South Africa. If you haven’t seen our new shop yet, visit us soon for a unique experience.
